As a professional DJ since 2010 and a life-long music lover, DJ K-Meta has established himself to be one of the most versatile young DJs in the DC area. Consistently working gigs every weekend and throughout the week, K-Meta has spun in many of the top clubs in the DC as well as branching out and performing across the globe. With true respect and fascination to his craft, K-Meta fell in love with DJing while attending school at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, where he graduated with a bachelor's in Psychology in 2013. K-Meta's ability to read a crowd, adapt to any situation and keep the party going is what makes him a standout in his profession. Whether it's making memorable moments at weddings, spinning hip hop records at top bottle service clubs in the city, blending underground sounds at dive bars or playing jams at international parties, K-Meta has a sound that will make you forget about your problems and enjoy the moment, which is one of his top goals as a DJ. Some of his career highlights are opening up for Ziggy Marley at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD in 2014, participating in the Redbull Thre3style World DJ Competition in 2013, DJing overseas in his families native country of Ethiopia, and also DJing in the Ivory Coast in 2015.  He is also the official DJ for the "Washington Slizzards" Ethiopian-American rapper Ras Nebyu. K-Meta attributes his success to his parents, as it was his father who taught him about work ethic, and his mother who gave him the confidence to pursue his true passion.
